The King in Our Hearts brings together work by 13 artists at River City Bangkok from 7–21 October 2026. The exhibition marks ten years since the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and reflects on the place of his public life in shared memory.
Located in RCB Artery, it provides a commemorative perspective within the venue's broader contemporary art programme.
Memory through individual perspectives
Rather than presenting a single artistic voice, the exhibition gathers different personal responses to the late king and his contributions. River City's announcement identifies the participating artists and describes the show as an occasion for remembrance.
When viewing a commemorative exhibition, consider how the image operates both as a personal statement and as part of a public history. The differences between works can be as revealing as the subject they share. Read individual labels where available and allow each artist's approach to remain distinct.
The exhibition is already open; the opening ceremony took place on 7 October.
