Behind My Eyes turns fleeting inner images into an exhibition at River City Bangkok. Hiroka Limviphuvadh's show runs from 2–31 October 2026, following a woman and a cat through a sequence of imagined scenes.
The project begins with images that surface around dreaming, meditation and the threshold of sleep.
Drawing an inner world
As the artist draws, separate impressions develop connections. The resulting sequence is presented as an evolving visual record rather than a single fixed account of what a dream means.
The recurring characters offer a useful starting point for looking. Notice how the relationship between a figure and its surroundings changes from one image to another, and resist the need to solve every scene immediately. An exhibition concerned with inner images can be enjoyed through rhythm, colour and association as much as through narrative.
This is a good addition to an afternoon spent exploring River City's smaller gallery spaces, particularly for visitors drawn to illustration and imaginative storytelling.
