The Art of Thai Aquascape returns to BACC from 3–15 November 2026. Now in its fifth year, the exhibition treats planted underwater environments as compositions made with living materials.
Plants, stone and water become an entry point into a form of visual creativity that sits between design, observation and care.
Looking at living compositions
The announced programme includes award-winning aquascapes, opportunities to encounter practitioners, workshops and interactive activities. Aqua Music Therapy and Aqua Postcard are among the named programme elements; their titles should not be taken as medical claims.
Look for how scale is created within a limited space. A change in planting, a line of stone or a gap can suggest a much larger landscape. Because living compositions develop over time, the exhibition also invites questions about maintenance and the relationship between an initial design and its continued life.
Check the organiser's activity schedule if a workshop is the main reason for your visit.
