And Still, Another After opens on 10 October 2026 at Jim Thompson Art Center and William Warren Library, continuing through 29 March 2027. Curated by Rinrada Na Chiangmai, the group exhibition considers how younger artists live with conditions inherited from recent history.
Economic uncertainty, migration, labour and ecological change are approached through their continuing effects on everyday life.
The past as a condition of the present
Video, photography, sound, installation and interventions in space examine the structures that remain after a crisis is said to be over. The exhibition moves between the art centre and library, connecting institutional settings with ordinary materials and experiences.
A useful way into the show is to look for a familiar object that has been placed in an unfamiliar relationship. Ask what kind of work, movement or dependency it makes visible. Such details can connect large historical questions to a particular encounter without reducing an artwork to an illustration of a theme.
Check both locations when planning the visit.
