Aesthetics Heritage at Sriwiang Gallery

Aesthetics Heritage runs at Sriwiang Gallery until 31 October 2026. The exhibition links cultural inheritance with belonging, shared ownership and the responsibility of passing creative knowledge forward.

Its programme considers heritage as a continuing relationship between what has been received and what people make of it now.

Inheritance as an active responsibility

The organiser's account connects art, craft, literature, music and architecture with the longer history of cultural patronage in Thailand. Conversation and creative participation are part of its stated approach to keeping inherited values in motion.

When visiting, consider the difference between preserving an object and sustaining the skills, interpretation or community around it. Which aspects of a tradition can change while remaining recognisable? That question can make the exhibition relevant beyond any single historical example.

Sriwiang's location in Bang Rak allows the show to form part of a wider day of gallery visits.
