Art in Motion: Synchronicity × Resonate brings photography and film into conversation at Art4C Art Centre from 2–29 October 2026. The project connects FSMR ISI Yogyakarta with Chulalongkorn University.

Different experiences and creative approaches are brought together through a shared interest in how images communicate across distance.

Still images, moving images and their echoes

The exhibition pairs the idea of coexistence across differences with the lasting resonance of a frame or gesture. Photography and moving images become tools for exchange rather than simply records of what happened.

Compare the time you spend with a photograph to the time a film asks you to give. One allows you to set the pace; the other may organise the sequence of your attention. Moving between those experiences can make the relationship between the two parts of the programme especially clear.

Check screening times if you want to see a film in full.
