BKK Comics Art Festival #5 returns to BACC from 6–18 October 2026. Organised by bkk UNZINE, the festival gives the visual craft of comics a prominent place through an exhibition and two convention weekends.

Both established and emerging creators are part of its celebration of graphic storytelling.

See the art behind the sequence

The exhibition occupies the fifth-floor curved wall. Convention activities are announced for 10–11 and 17–18 October, bringing creators and enthusiasts together alongside the display.

Look at how an artist controls the transition between images: framing, a repeated gesture or the space around a panel can carry as much narrative weight as dialogue. Seeing comics in an exhibition also changes the usual experience of reading them in a book or on a screen.

For those hoping to meet creators, prioritise a convention day and consult bkk UNZINE's current programme.
