Beneath the Surface; Everything closes on 11 October 2026 at Bangkok 1899. The exhibition connects art, marine research and community collaboration through a project involving Natalie Limwatana and the Aow Thai Marine Ecology Center.
Organised with Love Wildlife, it forms part of the venue's programme during Bangkok Climate Action Week.
A conversation around coral restoration
The project draws on field research into coral and the conditions that allow reefs to endure a warming environment. Its artistic presentation offers a public point of encounter with questions usually explored through scientific and community work.
Look for how the exhibition translates a complex ecological process into something an audience can engage with. What is made visible through art, and what still requires explanation? Keeping those questions open can support a thoughtful encounter without treating an exhibition as a substitute for the underlying research.
The remaining Sunday is the last advertised day of the run.
