Out of the Box brings the work of final-year secondary students in a Commercial Arts track to TCDC Bangkok from 20 October to 15 November 2026. The exhibition gathers creative outcomes developed through a year of practical work.

Its breadth connects visual art and design with music, film, digital media and architectural thinking.

Ideas crossing between disciplines

The programme includes painting, mixed media, product and architectural design, animation, character design, music and theatre. Students address social, environmental and personal subjects through their own research and production processes.

Look for how a medium has been chosen to communicate a particular idea. The same concern can take a very different form as a film, a designed object or a performance. That comparison makes the exhibition a useful stop for young creatives considering their own direction.

An official opening celebration with opportunities to meet students and hear live music is announced for 8 November, later than the first exhibition day.
