The New Narrative: Moving Image Showcase continues at TCDC Commons Visual Arts until 29 October 2026. Three artists bring different approaches to moving-image work into the setting of a specialised art library.
The showcase is at MunMun Srinakarin, making it a distinct destination from TCDC Bangkok's Charoen Krung premises.
Three works, three ways of constructing a narrative
The programme presents But Death Reproduced on the Conveyor Belt of Pseudo-Truth by Fais Hadsaram, I Have No Choice and I Must Decide by Natthakan Kaesontamkittiwut, and Trimurti by Ekkarat Manameteekul.
For a visit, give each work the time it requires rather than treating the screen as a passing image. Ask the library team how the presentation is organised and whether there is a running order. The listing does not supply durations, so allow flexibility instead of planning around an assumed short loop.
Notice how a title prepares you to interpret an image, and whether the actual sequence supports or unsettles that expectation. Comparing the three works can make the relationship between narrative, duration and viewing context more visible without assuming they share one message.
