Life in the Lines: Tent Katchakul at Alexgust Gallery

Life in the Lines by Tent Katchakul continues at Alexgust Gallery until 31 October 2026. The exhibition uses the idea of a line as a way to approach the changes, interruptions and uneven rhythms of a life.

With its final week now approaching, it is a timely addition to an art visit around Seacon Square Srinakarin.

Following an imperfect path

The organiser's introduction compares straight, rising, tangled and broken lines with different experiences. Its invitation is to accept variation rather than assume that a life should follow a permanently upward direction.

As a viewing exercise, notice how your eye follows a line and where it hesitates. A bend or interruption may be just as important as an uninterrupted passage. Consider whether you find yourself trying to resolve irregularity, and what happens if you allow it to remain part of the composition.

This is a gentle starting point for a conversation about art: visitors do not need to agree on a single meaning to compare how a visual rhythm makes them feel.

Plan your visit
